An artist’s book crafted from paper and fabric, Samara features my original illustrations, intuitive therapeutic art, traces of personal mythology, and poetic-ritual practices. It is a symbolic journey through inner landscapes, from menarche to menopause, a path to be travelled in the soul’s spiral time.
In botany, a samara is a winged seed that spins through the air, carried by the wind towards new ground. In the same spirit, Samara was created to accompany movement, growth, and transformation.
My intention is that this book be lived with. That it becomes an intimate sensory experience. That it gathers marks, folds, pressed flowers, annotations, and memories — just as our bodies do.
Each Samara journal is unique. While all copies share the same illustrations and overall structure, every edition includes its own special details: a different fabric pattern, natural elements, and handcrafted touches that make each object one of a kind.
